Yogakosh (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Yogakosh mobile application (“App”). By using Yogakosh, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Yogakosh is designed to collect minimal personal information necessary to provide the service.

Account Information

To access the app, users sign in using Sign in with Apple. Depending on your Apple settings, this may provide:

  • A private relay email address
  • A unique Apple user identifier

We use this information only to authenticate your account and enable access to the app.

Practice Data

Yogakosh stores limited information about your yoga practice to provide features such as practice tracking and statistics. This may include:

  • Completed practice sessions
  • Session duration
  • Practice history

This data is used solely to provide functionality within the app.

Analytics

Yogakosh uses Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage information to improve the app experience. This may include:

  • App performance information
  • General feature usage
  • Device and app interaction data

This information is anonymous and does not personally identify users.

2. Apple Health Integration

Yogakosh can optionally write workout information to the Apple Health app. If you grant permission, Yogakosh may write the following information to Apple Health:

  • Workout duration
  • Estimated calories burned

Yogakosh does not read any data from Apple Health. Health permissions can be managed or revoked at any time through your device’s Health settings.

3. Subscription Payments

Subscriptions within Yogakosh are processed through the Apple App Store. Payment information is handled directly by Apple. Yogakosh does not collect or store payment details. For information about how Apple handles payment data, please refer to Apple’s privacy policy.

4. How We Use Information

The limited information collected is used to:

  • Provide access to the Yogakosh app
  • Enable practice tracking features
  • Improve app performance and reliability
  • Understand general app usage patterns

We do not sell personal data (because we don’t have it).

5. Data Storage

Practice-related data may be stored securely to support features such as session history and statistics within the app. We take reasonable measures to protect this information.

6. Third-Party Services

Yogakosh relies on certain third-party services to operate the app. These may include:

  • Firebase Analytics (for anonymous usage analytics)
  • Apple Sign in (for authentication)
  • Apple Health (for optional workout recording)
  • Apple App Store (for subscription payments)

These services may process limited information in accordance with their own privacy policies.

7. Children’s Privacy

Yogakosh is not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected by the “Last updated” date at the top of this document. Continued use of the app indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
