Yogakosh (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Yogakosh mobile application (“App”). By using Yogakosh, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Yogakosh is designed to collect minimal personal information necessary to provide the service.
On Android, signing in is optional — you can practice yoga flows in Yogakosh, and even subscribe, entirely without creating an account. On iOS, signing in is currently required to use the app; we plan to make it optional there as well. Where you choose to (or are required to) sign in using secure authentication (Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In), depending on your account settings, this may provide:

Yogakosh stores limited information about your yoga practice to provide features such as practice tracking and statistics. This may include:

On Android, even before you sign in, Yogakosh assigns your install an internal account identifier so your practice history isn't lost. This identifier is not linked to your name or email unless you choose to sign in — at which point your existing practice history is automatically linked to your signed-in account, so nothing is lost.
Yogakosh uses Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage information to improve the app experience. This may include:

Yogakosh can optionally write workout information to health tracking apps (Apple Health on iOS and Health Connect on Android). If you grant permission, Yogakosh may write the following information:
Yogakosh does not read any data from Apple Health or Health Connect. Health permissions can be managed or revoked at any time through your device's settings (iOS Health settings or Android Health Connect settings).
On Android, subscribing to Yogakosh does not require signing in or creating an account. On iOS, an account is currently required before subscribing, since sign-in is required to use the app there. Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store (on iOS) or Google Play Store (on Android). Payment information is handled directly by the respective store operator (Apple or Google). Yogakosh does not collect or store payment details. For information about how they handle payment data, please refer to Apple’s and Google’s respective privacy policies.

Practice-related data may be stored securely to support features such as session history and statistics within the app. We take reasonable measures to protect this information.
On Android, this is true even if you never sign in: your practice data is stored under an internal account identifier that is not linked to your name or email unless you choose to sign in. On iOS, sign-in is currently required to use the app.
Your account (whether anonymous or signed in) and practice data are retained for as long as the account remains active, until you delete it. Deleting your account through the app takes effect immediately in almost all cases. If you request deletion by email instead (see Section 6 below), it is completed within 30 days of a confirmed request.
Anonymous Firebase Analytics data is not tied to your identity and is retained according to Firebase’s standard analytics retention settings, after which it is automatically deleted.
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time — on Android, this is available whether or not you've ever signed in, since every install has a deletable account. The fastest way is directly in the app: Settings → Delete Account. This takes effect immediately in almost all cases. Accounts with saved custom sequences require a brief manual review — in that case you'll be asked to email support@yogakosh.com to complete the deletion.
If you don't have access to the app (for example, you've signed in with an email and no longer have the app installed), you can request deletion online at yogakosh.com/google-account/delete-request or by emailing support@yogakosh.com. Email requests require a confirmation reply to verify account ownership before deletion is processed. Once confirmed, your account and all associated data are permanently deleted within 30 days. This email path requires an account email on file, so it only applies if you've signed in at some point — if you never signed in, use in-app deletion instead.
Yogakosh relies on certain third-party services to operate the app. These may include:

Yogakosh is not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected by the “Last updated” date at the top of this document. Continued use of the app indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
